For deaths not involving HM Coroner

Ensure you have the MCCD (Medical Certificate of cause of Death)  which will have been given to you by the Doctor or hospital Bereavement Team. This is used to Register the Death. You will be given a Green certificate to hand to the  funeral directors.

If HM Coroner is involved, please tell us and we will advise you of the process, documents needed and registration.

We will prepare and complete all the statutory documentation needed for the cremation to take place. 

If the death has occurred in hospital we will also need the official 'release form' that you would have been given by their Bereavement Team

Once we have completed all the statutory documentation, and we have the green certificate and any hospital release form we will collect your loved once and book the cremation..

You will be required to make payment at this point, however if funds are not immediately available, we will discuss payment options with you.

If you have chosen for the Ashes to be returned to you we will make an appointment for their collection  (local delivery is possible).
